Restaurant NIU Asian Steakhouse in Neu-Isenburg

Niu 2.0 - The slightly different restaurant Since the 15th of November the restaurant Niu is reopened at the Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt Gravenbruch during the winter months. It offers high quality Asian steakhouse and wok cuisine, replacing the Lebanese specialty Levante restaurant, open only in summer, until the end of April. In reopened Niu, chef Robin Eisermann serves upscale Asian steak and fish dishes. He exclusively uses premium fish and meat products from the best producers listed on the menu. In addition to Asian soups, tuna steaks are available in sushi quality, and a wide selection of meat cuts either from the lava stone grill or from the wok. There is a fish and meat menu, an à la carte selection and a signature dish with a daily fresh offer. The service at Niu is managed by experienced Kempinski employee Christian Rothe and leaves nothing to be desired. At the beginning we were served freshly prepared Asian bread with aromatic dips: curry mango cream and tomato and herb dip. We had a tender octopus takoyaki with baby leaf rolls and a spicy vietnamese beef pho as appetizers. The main courses: Delicately tender braised beef with lotus root, pumpkin cream and wild broccoli or a 300g premium mooq rump steak with sauce and garnish of your choice. I chose a Chimichurri mango sauce and chilli fries. The dry-aged beef of German origin was perfectly grilled, juicy, tender and very aromatic - it was (unfortunately) served without fat. In view of the top quality, we were also very satisfied with the price / performance ratio. For meat lovers, the Asian Steakhouse at Kempinski is a great culinary alternative to the standard steak and grill restaurants in Frankfurt. If you like something a little less Asian, you are in good hands in the restaurant EssTisch or in the rustic Torschänke. There are very good classic dishes at cheaper prices. Attention: The restaurant Niu is only Mo.-Di. and Fri-Sat. open.
